Litigation Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist with the Tennessee caseload

• Work in collaboration with other members of the legal team

• Prepare and submit legal documents

• Track deadlines, court hearings, and client communications

• Get ready for trials and support attorneys during court sessions

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of litigation experience in personal injury

• Litigation experience in a minimum of one additional state: Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, or California

• Proficient in drafting Complaints and Initial Discovery

• Ability to forward Complaints to process servers and oversee service of process

• Skilled in drafting Discovery Responses

• Experience in calendaring and noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence

• Capable of drafting and filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses

• Knowledgeable in calendaring litigation timelines

• Conduct status update calls with clients

• Engage in client update communications

• Manage and follow up on non-party discovery requests

• Assist with trial preparation

• Verified litigation experience in Tennessee and additional states

• Familiarity with procedures and e-filing for Tennessee Circuit and Chancery Courts
