Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Litigation Oversight: Manage all stages of litigation from the initiation of cases through to trial, including crafting case strategies, conducting discovery, and engaging in settlement negotiations.

• Client Engagement: Consult with clients to comprehend their legal challenges, offer legal guidance, and devise effective strategies.

• Court Advocacy: Represent clients during court hearings, trials, and arbitration, ensuring exceptional advocacy at all times.

• Legal Investigation: Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to guide case strategy and bolster legal arguments.

• Document Preparation: Draft a range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests that are articulate, concise, and persuasive.

• Trial Readiness: Collaborate with paralegals and support personnel to organize trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions.

• Case Evaluation: Analyze cases, pinpoint issues, and offer recommendations for the most effective course of action.

• Client Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates on case progress and developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution.

• Licensing Credentials: Licensed to practice law in Texas with a solid grasp of state and federal litigation procedures.

• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in personal injury or employment law cases.

• Core Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom abilities, alongside strong legal writing skills.

• Trial Proficiency: Demonstrated trial experience with the capacity to confidently advocate for clients in high-stakes scenarios.
