This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the entire life insurance process from initial lead to policy issuance and ongoing servicing.
• Assist clients during onboarding and provide guidance throughout the application procedure.
• Execute policy modifications (such as coverage changes, NS class updates, rating reconsiderations, beneficiary alterations, cancellations, and reinstatements) with necessary broker approval; Ensure accurate maintenance of client information (contact details, address, banking/PAD/CC, beneficiaries).
• Follow up on NSF payments and issue payment/renewal notifications.
• Conduct daily outbound calls to new leads for broker appointments (targeting approximately 50 calls per day).
• Complete follow-up tasks and quote follow-ups assigned by brokers.
• Monitor applications and policy deliveries; follow up on outstanding signatures.
• Gather and manage PHI, medical records, APS, questionnaires, ID verification, and other underwriting necessities.
• Arrange meetings with brokers concerning approvals, ratings, or declined cases.
• Respond swiftly to client inquiries and ensure effective communication.
• Liaise with insurance company headquarters regarding pending documentation, payments, and case statuses.
• Ensure accuracy in Salesforce, particularly in the “Application Submitted” tab.
• Keep Google Drive client files and documents current.
• Address compliance requirements, maintain record accuracy, and perform file audits (including legacy documents).
• Offer client support throughout extensive underwriting processes.
• Act as the scheduling point of contact for brokers and assist in processing outstanding items by gathering relevant information and advancing the process.
• Undertake additional administrative or operational duties as required.
• Ensure adequate service coverage for brokers during their vacation periods.
• Bilingual (French & English) — mandatory.
• Background in life insurance, financial services, banking, client service, or high-volume environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Google Suite; experience with Salesforce and insurance software is preferred.
• Familiarity with life insurance claims is an asset.
