Licensed Vocational Nurse – Private Duty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in their private homes or hotel recovery suites.

• Support patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance.

• Manage and oversee medication administration, including reminders and safety monitoring, within the LVN scope.

• Offer post-operative care, wound management, and recovery support under the guidance of an RN or physician.

• Assist with long-term in-home care assignments and provide support for palliative care patients.

• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, promptly reporting any changes to the supervising RN or physician.

• Ensure documentation adheres to Vitale Nursing, Inc. standards and complies with state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid California LVN License.

• Current BLS Certification (ACLS preferred).

• Access to reliable transportation.

• Strong communication abilities and clinical skills.

• A professional, punctual, and trustworthy demeanor.

• Three professional references.

• Proof of Malpractice Insurance.

• Successful completion of a background check.

• Experience in ICU and/or ER is preferred.
