Licensed Traffic Engineer – Data Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee different phases of traffic and transportation analysis and design for data center projects throughout the United States.

• Evaluate transportation data and roadway operations to determine site accessibility, circulation patterns, traffic effects, and infrastructure requirements.

• Develop and assess technical reports, visual aids, and recommendations that facilitate project planning, permitting, and design initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and act as a technical advisor during project development, client interactions, and agency negotiations.

• Utilize sound engineering principles, industry practices, and regulatory guidelines while juggling multiple project tasks and deliverables.

• Provide training and mentorship to EIT staff on traffic engineering and project management practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.

• PTOE certification is preferred but not essential.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering.

• Proficient in preparing traffic impact studies, transportation analyses, or traffic operations evaluations, and/or traffic design.

• Demonstrated self-motivation in executing projects.

• Experience in coordinating with public agencies.

• Familiarity with traffic engineering principles, transportation planning concepts, and relevant design standards.
