Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional and innovative tele-therapy services to Headspace clients via a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Finalize, sign, and secure clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours following each session as part of the per-session reimbursement agreement.

• Maintain an organized database to document proof of licensure, updates, expiration dates, personal details, and more.

• Ensure your availability calendar is consistently up-to-date.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team that includes health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• Possession of an independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without the need for clinical supervision) at the Master’s or Doctoral level, along with a BC-TMH credential if required by your state.

• Capability to offer at least 10 sessions per week for bookings, with the flexibility to adjust availability as necessary.

• Flexibility for night and weekend sessions is advantageous.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices (such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Commitment to providing culturally responsive care, with relevant knowledge and skills.

• Comfort and confidence in using various care delivery technologies, including applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc.

• A secure location equipped with a reliable internet connection for providing Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
