Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality, innovative teletherapy services to Headspace patients using a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours of the session. Note completion is included in the session rate, and additional time for session notes should generally not be charged.

• Maintain your personalized database to track proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal information, and more.

• Ensure your availability calendar is consistently updated.

• Maintain regular communication with clinical leadership by checking work emails promptly and responding within 24 hours, even when not scheduled to work.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Available to provide a minimum of 5 sessions per week, with the ability to increase availability as needed.

• Flexibility for night and weekend sessions is a plus.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Knowledge, skills, and a commitment to delivering culturally responsive care.

• Ability and readiness to perform concurrent documentation, as the session rate compensates for both care delivery and documentation.

• Willingness and assurance to incorporate advanced technology into all aspects of care.

• Familiarity and confidence with care delivery technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc. Tech-savviness is essential.

• A secure location with a reliable internet connection to conduct Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• Experience with risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Licensed as LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCPC, LPCC, or LPC.

• An independent clinical license to practice in good standing, without the need for clinical supervision.

• BC-TMH credential, if mandated by your state of licensure.
