This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Proactively generate new business on a daily basis through high-volume outbound calls, inbound follow-ups, and digital outreach efforts.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to convert leads into clients, facilitating value-driven discussions that lead to successful closures.
• Manage your pipeline from prospecting through follow-up to closing, utilizing Salesforce for tracking progress and organization.
• Foster urgency and credibility through strategic messaging and effective objection handling.
• Become a subject matter expert on Embark’s digital tools and adeptly guide prospects through our offerings.
• Interact with leads across various channels, including telephone, video conferencing, and email.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and internal teams to enhance conversion rates and refine the sales process continuously.
• Adhere to Embark’s structured sales process, ensuring a remarkable client experience from initial contact to onboarding.
• **Primary Responsibilities**
• Meet and surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals by identifying and closing new client opportunities.
• Execute targeted outbound calling campaigns and follow up on inbound leads originating from Embark’s website, marketing efforts, and referral partners.
• Oversee lead flow and pipeline management in Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate reporting.
• Stay updated on market trends and product knowledge to provide tailored and relevant solutions to prospects.
• Actively engage in training, coaching, and performance evaluations to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Ensure that all client interactions adhere to regulatory standards and Embark’s Code of Conduct.
• Contribute to operational improvements and process enhancements that lead to a smoother client experience.
• Positively impact the team by sharing insights, supporting colleagues, and fostering a culture of performance and inclusion.
• Demonstrated success in inside sales, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong experience in cold calling and outbound sales; adept at managing objections and closing deals.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that are clear, persuasive, and customer-focused.
• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital tools for virtual selling.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Familiarity with or a desire to learn about financial products and services.
• Possess a growth mindset, comfortable with change, feedback, and shifting priorities.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a high-performing team culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
