This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver thorough neuropsychological, psychological, and/or psychoeducational evaluations for clients with concerns related to learning, behavioral, emotional, and/or social challenges.

• Provide both written and verbal feedback to clients regarding evaluation outcomes, diagnostic insights, and suggestions for suitable remediation, including referrals.

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological, and/or psychoeducational evaluations either in-person or virtually.

• After evaluations, conduct feedback sessions with the patient (or their legal guardian if they are a minor).

• Compile a detailed written report that includes evaluation results, diagnoses, and recommendations, which will be stored in the patient's medical record and shared with the patient (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor) and referral sources, adhering to HIPAA Privacy and Security Plans.

• Ensure timely completion and uploading of written documentation in accordance with departmental policies.

• Provide direct supervision (both individual and group) and training in Neuropsychological Testing/Assessment to “Diagnostic Specialists” (Psychometrists/Technicians).

• Actively seek supervision when necessary.

• Stay updated within the field of psychology and pursue continuing education opportunities related to psychological/neuropsychological testing for pediatric patients.

• Participate in weekly Regional Clinical Training Meetings, including presenting at Weekly Psychology Assessment Didactic Seminars (PADS).

• Maintain an active license and adhere to good standing with the state board of psychology.

• Comply with ABA Centers of America’s HIPAA privacy and security policies.

• Collaborate with all team members to support the mission of ABA Centers of America, including attending regular departmental and general staff meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) with specialized training in the assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, such as specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability.

• Ability to maintain a clean background/drug screening and driving record (required).

• Prior training experience in the assessment, administration, scoring, and interpretation of Neuropsychological Tests is required.

• Experience in administering assessments/tests for Intellectual Functioning, Development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, including the ADOS-2, Social Communication, and Emotional and Behavioral Functioning.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Spanish proficiency is advantageous.

• Pay: $150 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

• This position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role.

• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, licensure, and professional liability coverage.
