Licensed Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough neuropsychological, psychological, and/or psychoeducational evaluations for clients with referral concerns related to learning, behavior, emotional, and/or social challenges.

• Deliver written and oral feedback to clients regarding evaluation results, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for appropriate remediation, including referrals.

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological, and/or psychoeducational evaluations, either in-person or virtually.

• After the evaluation, hold feedback sessions with the patient (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor).

• Prepare a written report that details the evaluation findings, diagnoses, and recommendations, which will be included in the patient’s medical record and shared with the patient (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor) and referral source, in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Plans.

• Ensure timely completion and uploading of written documentation as per departmental policy.

• Provide direct supervision (both individual and group) and training in neuropsychological testing/assessment to Diagnostic Specialists (Psychometrists/Technicians).

• Actively seek supervision as needed.

• Stay updated in the field of psychology and pursue continuing education opportunities related to psychological/neuropsychological testing of pediatric patients.

• Participate in weekly Regional Clinical Training Meetings, including presenting at Weekly Psychology Assessment Didactic Seminars (PADS).

• Maintain an active license in good standing with the state board of psychology.

• Adhere to the HIPAA privacy and security policies of ABA Centers of America.

• Collaborate with team members to support the mission of ABA Centers of America, including attending routine departmental and general staff meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) with specialized training in the assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability.

• Ability to maintain a clean background/drug screening and driving record (required).

• Prior training experience in the assessment, administration, scoring, and interpretation of Neuropsychological Tests is required.

• Experience in administering measures/tests of Intellectual Functioning, Development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, including the ADOS-2, Social Communication, and Emotional and Behavioral Functioning.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Pay: $150 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

• This position is a 1099 independent contractor role.
