Licensed Mental Health Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality and innovative tele-therapy to Headspace patients utilizing a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours of each session as part of the per-session reimbursement structure.

• Maintain your personalized database to document proof of licensure, updates, expiration dates, personal information, and more.

• Keep your availability calendar regularly updated.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• An independent clinical license to practice in good standing (no clinical supervision required), at either the Master’s or Doctoral level.

• BC-TMH credential, if mandated by your state of licensure.

• Availability to offer at least 10 sessions per week for bookings, with the flexibility to adjust as necessary.

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends is advantageous.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Knowledge, capability, and dedication to delivering culturally responsive care.

• Comfort and confidence in using care delivery technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web-apps, video conferencing, EMR, and more.

• A secure location with a reliable internet connection to provide Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
