Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Ohio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote counseling services to children, teens, adults, couples, families, and groups.

• Work collaboratively with clients to pinpoint issues, establish counseling objectives, and create actionable treatment strategies.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with state, federal, and company regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, meetings, and training programs.

• Incorporate Christian faith alongside psychological best practices in therapy when appropriate.

• Refer clients to additional resources or specialists as necessary.

• Participate in occasional community outreach or ministry activities that align with Light Counseling’s mission.

• Provide clinical supervision or mentorship to interns and residents (if qualified).

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Active, unrestricted license in Ohio (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).

• Strong dedication to Christian faith and active involvement in a local church.

• Current CAQH profile and Professional Liability Insurance.

• Successful completion of background and reference verification.

• No restrictions on billing insurance payers.

• Preferred experience in working with Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Play Therapy, Couples/Marriage Counseling, and/or Child Populations.

• Specialized training in trauma-focused therapies (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT) is preferred.
