Licensed Mental Health Clinician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups.

• Work collaboratively with clients to pinpoint concerns, establish counseling objectives, and create actionable treatment plans.

• Ensure precise and timely clinical documentation adheres to all state, federal, and company regulations (i.e., HIPAA).

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, meetings, and training opportunities.

• Incorporate Christian faith alongside psychological best practices in therapy as appropriate.

• Refer clients to additional resources or specialists as necessary.

• Participate in occasional community outreach or ministry initiatives that resonate with Light Counseling’s mission.

• Provide clinical supervision or mentorship to interns and residents (if qualified).

• Carry out other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active, unrestricted license in Vermont (LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW).

• Strong dedication to Christian faith and active involvement in a local church.

• Current CAQH profile and Professional Liability Insurance.

• Successful completion of background and reference checks.

• No restrictions on billing insurance providers.

• Experience in working with Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Play Therapy, Couples/Marriage Counseling, and/or Child Populations (preferred).

• Specialized training in trauma-focused therapies (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT) (preferred).
