This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Interact with insurance seekers through inbound/outbound calls, live chat, SMS, and various other channels in a remote call center setting.
• Leverage insurance knowledge to identify customer needs, reveal coverage gaps, and suggest customized Allstate solutions.
• Transform warm leads into customers utilizing a consultative sales approach; cold calling is not required.
• Propel sales growth while providing an outstanding, customer-centric experience.
• Manage inbound and outbound customer calls as the main method of customer engagement.
• Ensure availability during designated work hours to meet call volume and service expectations.
• Conduct consultative sales conversations and complete transactions during live customer engagements.
• Follow assigned schedules, which may include evenings and weekends, according to business coverage requirements.
• Achieve established productivity, quality, and performance benchmarks.
• Navigate multiple computer systems concurrently while actively interacting with customers.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with a sales emphasis.
• Preferred: Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty Producer license in the state of residence.
• If unlicensed, must be able to secure a Personal Lines or Property & Casualty Producer license with Allstate’s assistance.
• Required to acquire and maintain all necessary resident and non-resident Producer licenses to sell insurance products in states designated by Allstate.
• Must surrender all non-Allstate insurance carrier appointments and cannot hold active appointments with other carriers during employment, following Allstate policies.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet with a wired Ethernet connection.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload are required.
• A dedicated, private, and distraction-free workspace at home is necessary.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends is essential.
• Open to feedback and performance coaching.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities are needed.
• Competitive, highly self-driven, and motivated by performance rewards.
• Capable of working independently and holding oneself accountable.
• Ability to operate multiple computer systems simultaneously is required.
• Position is available only within the US, excluding residents of Puerto Rico, California, New York, Alaska, Hawaii, and Washington state.
• Must reside in an area where the local minimum wage does not surpass the position’s base pay.
• Submission to a background check is mandatory.
• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this role.
