This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Engage with potential members who show interest in our pet insurance offerings.
• Utilize a consultative approach to grasp each member’s specific needs and customize insurance solutions accordingly.
• Highlight the advantages of Trupanion’s pet insurance policies, focusing on benefits rather than costs.
• Maintain control over calls and effectively steer conversations to facilitate enrollment.
• Provide comprehensive information regarding policies and coverage options, addressing any questions or objections from members.
• Accurately enroll pets in insurance policies, ensuring thorough collection and documentation of necessary information.
• Act as the main point of contact for current members, addressing policy inquiries, offering guidance, and ensuring overall member satisfaction throughout the process.
• Manage requests from current members who express a desire to cancel their pet insurance policy, demonstrating active listening and strong problem-solving abilities to understand concerns, explore alternatives, and work towards member retention.
• Communicate with members via phone and email, adjusting your communication style to align with each member’s preferences.
• At least two years of experience in a sales and/or customer service capacity, showcasing a proven ability to deliver outstanding service.
• Previous experience in a bilingual sales or customer service position.
• Active Level 1 Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license or Level 1 Personal Property & Casualty license recognized by the AMF.
• Full professional proficiency in both English and French, with the capability to switch effortlessly between languages during member interactions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to adapt to the diverse needs and preferences of members.
• Goal-oriented mindset with an emphasis on achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
