This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluate written materials and AI-generated outputs for technical precision, relevance, and professional standards.

• Analyze calculations, assessments, recommendations, and conclusions based on established electrical engineering practices.

• Detect erroneous assumptions, circuit design flaws, omitted constraints, and technical discrepancies.

• Provide clear and logical technical explanations in response to electrical engineering inquiries.

• Utilize professional judgment in scenarios involving power systems, control systems, electronics, and signal processing.

• Assess electrical loads, system performance, component limitations, operating conditions, and safety criteria.

• Offer corrections along with supporting justifications.

• Review the application of pertinent electrical codes and standards, including NEC and IEEE guidelines.

• Identify trustworthy technical references and evaluate the appropriateness of cited methodologies, equations, and assumptions.

• Emphasize safety, regulatory, technical, and procedural factors.

• Provide insights into practical workflows, documentation, and quality control processes in electrical engineering.

• Assess content involving MATLAB, AutoCAD Electrical, SPICE, or equivalent engineering tools.

• Review technical specifications, calculations, schematics, design documents, and training resources.

• Collaborate remotely with a small team of subject matter experts from various disciplines.

• Contribute to an AI research initiative aimed at enhancing the understanding and reasoning capabilities of advanced systems regarding electrical engineering subjects.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.

• Active Professional Engineer license in the United States.

• A degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Experience in power systems, controls, electronics, signal processing, or multiple areas of electrical engineering.

• Strong knowledge of relevant electrical codes, technical standards, and professional documentation practices.

• Hands-on experience with MATLAB, AutoCAD Electrical, SPICE, or similar engineering software.

• Proficient in English at a professional working level.

• Excellent written communication skills, technical reasoning abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Reliable availability for approximately 10 hours each week.

• Must be located in the United States.
