Licensed Benefit Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Complete all necessary certifications to represent both state-specific and national insurance carriers successfully.

• Assist in early outreach initiatives to new members by making outbound calls to introduce WTW.

• Dedicate approximately 80% of your scheduled shift during AEP (Oct-Dec) to engaging in phone conversations with participants.

• Employ a consultative sales methodology to understand and evaluate the needs of each Medicare-eligible participant.

• Clearly articulate the costs and advantages of various insurance plans using a compassionate and professional communication approach.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and patience with each caller.

• Work collaboratively with team members to foster a positive and diverse call-center atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Resident State Life and Health Insurance license is mandatory.

• Prior experience in a needs-based sales role is preferred.

• Ability to understand and adhere to all agent appointment and carrier certification criteria necessary for representing state-specific and national insurance carriers.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred, with the capability to multitask across multiple screens and windows while responding to inquiries on the phone.

• Capacity to learn new proprietary software systems.

• Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
