Legal Operations Lead, Contract Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and support specific workstreams involved in the implementation of an AI-driven contracting tool, which includes documenting requirements, coordinating testing, assisting with rollout, tracking adoption, and fostering continuous improvement.

• Aid in the ongoing management and enhancement of DoorDash’s contract lifecycle management system.

• Collaborate with vendor technical teams, DoorDash Engineers, Data Systems, GTM, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, and Legal stakeholders to gather and document integration requirements.

• Oversee the governance processes for global contract templates.

• Convert legal and business requirements into well-defined workflow requirements, metadata structures, field mappings, implementation strategies, test scenarios, and processes ready for reporting.

• Manage UAT, smoke testing, preparedness for go-live, post-launch issue resolution, training materials, status updates, and communications with stakeholders regarding tooling, workflow, and template modifications.

• Develop implementation strategies, training materials, and stakeholder communications for legal technology and contract operations projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in legal operations, contract operations, legal technology, technical program management, or systems implementation.

• Practical experience in supporting CLM, workflow, intake, repository, or the administration of business systems.

• Proficient in converting legal and business requirements into technical workflows, metadata structures, and implementation strategies.

• Excellent project and change management abilities.

• Comfortable working with vendor technical teams, engineers, and data stakeholders on integrations, testing, and rollout strategies.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Ironclad, Salesforce, Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent platforms.
