This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and coordinate the designated publications available in both digital and print formats.
• Track authors to secure manuscripts and necessary updates in accordance with set deadlines.
• Attract new authors and arrange substitutes for those who withdraw from the project.
• Engage in the editorial workflow and publication process for French-language manuscripts.
• Establish and nurture strong connections within the legal community, including practitioners, academics, judiciary members, librarians, and other external collaborators.
• Contribute to various translation initiatives.
• Act as a liaison for authors and members of our diverse teams.
• Exceptional proficiency in the French language.
• Exceptional proficiency in the English language.
• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• Membership in the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to handle multiple projects while meeting publication deadlines for both print and online formats.
• Aptitude for building strong professional relationships with contributors and collaborating on projects that involve multiple teams.
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Expertise in incorporating artificial intelligence into work processes, including the daily use of large language models (LLMs) and AI tools to facilitate analysis and content creation, along with iterative prompt optimization to guarantee consistently high-quality outcomes.
