This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the follow-up and coordination of assigned publications, both online and in print.
• Track authors to secure manuscript submissions and updates in accordance with established deadlines.
• Identify and recruit new authors, as well as arrange for replacements for any authors who withdraw.
• Engage in the editorial process, particularly for publishing manuscripts in French.
• Build and sustain robust relationships with the legal community, including practitioners, academics, judiciary members, librarians, and other external partners.
• Contribute to a range of translation projects.
• Act as a primary contact for authors and members across our various teams.
• Strong proficiency in French.
• Excellent command of English.
• Possess a law degree (LL.B. or equivalent).
• Membership with the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec is considered an asset.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects and adhere to publication deadlines for both print and online products.
• Skill in fostering strong working relationships with contributors and collaborating on multi-team projects.
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Competence in integrating artificial intelligence into work processes.
