Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Provide responses to the requirements set by official entities and oversight bodies.

• Oversee the review of contracts necessary for negotiating and implementing partnerships in Latin America.

• Responsible for addressing, following up on, and managing client and third-party petitions until resolution.

• Assist the Legal Directorate in handling corporate and operational matters.

• Ensure compliance with regional regulations regarding personal data protection in Latin America.

• Manage and safeguard the company's brand portfolio in the region, ensuring proper management and registration.

• Ensure adherence to Corporate Regional Compliance, promoting the observance of internal policies and guidelines.

• Provide legal support in negotiating and implementing strategic alliances to enhance brand positioning.

• Manage consumer protection processes in Latin America, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a degree in Law with a postgraduate qualification in Corporate Law or related fields.

• Have at least 4 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within law firms.

• Possess experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, personal data protection, brand management, responding to regulatory requirements, and providing legal advice to various business areas.

• Be results-oriented, with excellent assertive communication skills, interpersonal relationships, organization, and time management.

• Be characterized by proactivity, a collaborative work style, and the ability to create value through timely solutions and a results-driven approach.

• Reside in Bogotá or nearby areas.

• Have conversational English skills.
