This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Oversee and coordinate client cases throughout all phases of litigation, including intake, discovery, trial preparation, and resolution.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on the status of their cases and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys to draft legal documents, gather and organize evidence, and formulate case strategies.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines, statutes of limitations, and internal timelines.
• Aid in the preparation of discovery responses and various legal pleadings.
• Keep well-organized case files, making sure that all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Facilitate communication among clients, experts, and other stakeholders, ensuring that critical information is collected and shared in a timely manner.
• Conduct research to find relevant case law, statutes, and regulations that can support case strategies.
• Assist in trial preparation, which includes organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience within a legal environment.
• Law Firm Experience: Previous experience in a law firm as an Executive Assistant, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar legal support capacity is highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate a strong command of the English language, with excellent reading comprehension and writing capabilities.
• Reading & Compliance Focus: A large part of this role involves reviewing documents, ensuring compliance, and adhering to legal procedures. Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately interpret written information are crucial.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, along with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to the firm’s culture.
