Learning Solutions Specialist – Fixed-Term

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and conduct training sessions for the Patient Support Program team.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gain insights into PSP content and knowledge.

• Create eLearning modules, presentation materials, user manuals, job aids, lesson plans, and various instructional resources.

• Utilize Work Instructions and SOPs to produce learner-friendly documents.

• Deliver educational programs through eLearning, instructor-led training, VILT, and blended learning approaches.

• Enhance the LMS to host learning modules and develop blended and self-guided learning options.

• Perform training needs assessments, identify knowledge gaps, and devise learning solutions.

• Assess existing and forthcoming learning programs utilizing Level 1–3 evaluations.

• Review and continuously enhance learning programs and materials.

• Coordinate onboarding training in partnership with the Learning Solutions Coordinator, QA, and PSP leadership.

• Provide constructive feedback to managers regarding new employee performance.

• Assist in the management and creation of content for the L&D webpage.

• Handle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines effectively.

• Streamline training processes to improve efficiency.

• Offer additional support and perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Adult Education/Curriculum Development, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Experience in Patient Support Programs with an understanding of private and public reimbursement systems, structures, and processes is advantageous.

• Familiarity with adult learning principles and training best practices.

• Advanced capability to learn and comprehend new content, systems, and processes.

• Exceptional presentation and facilitation abilities.

• Knowledge and experience in instructional design methodologies and the creation of comprehensive training programs from the ground up.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, etc.), Canva, Camtasia, and SnagIt.

• Experience in creating SharePoint pages is considered a plus.

• Administrative experience with an LMS is beneficial.

• Experience in conducting training needs assessments and delivering successful learning solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading, editing, and quality assurance.

• Proven track record of collaborating with leaders and stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
