This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Assume responsibility for the entire learning lifecycle, which includes needs identification, solution design, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing enhancement.
β’ Create and implement a learning and development strategy along with an annual plan that aligns with business objectives and workforce requirements.
β’ Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to pinpoint skills gaps and devise a variety of learning solutions, such as formal training, digital learning, coaching, mentoring, and self-development resources.
β’ Organize and execute training programs utilizing a blended approach, oversee the L&D budget, and foster relationships with suppliers.
β’ Assist in workforce planning by developing talent pipelines, including apprenticeships and graduate programs.
β’ Evaluate the effectiveness of learning activities through a data-driven methodology, providing clear reports and promoting continuous improvement.
β’ Ensure that compliance training is established and meets organizational requirements, lending expertise to broader organizational projects.
β’ Proven experience in a comparable Senior L&D position.
β’ Background in developing and executing learning and development strategies, managing training schedules, and overseeing budgets.
β’ Proficiency in digital learning platforms and contemporary learning methodologies.
β’ A relevant qualification, such as a degree/CIPD Level 5, or equivalent pertinent experience.
β’ Strong facilitation abilities and a solid understanding of effective learning strategies and techniques.
β’ A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the capability to work autonomously.
β’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
β’ Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
β’ Robust analytical skills and comfort in working with data and reporting.
β’ Experience in identifying skills gaps to aid strategic workforce planning is advantageous, along with a recognized L&D qualification such as the CIPD Associate Diploma in Learning and Development Level 5.
β’ Remote/home-based working - standard working hours are 35 per week, from 9 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
