Leadership and Innovation Advisor – Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, implementation, and integration of AMPLIF-EYE with the Fellowship and Innovations Fund.

• Serve as a strategic link between mentorship training and financial investment.

• Complete and deliver a virtual mentorship and leadership curriculum for AMPLIF-EYE utilizing adult learning and gender-transformative approaches.

• Conduct engaging virtual Training-of-Trainers sessions for a group of mid-career women in the field of eye health.

• Offer structured group and individual coaching to help participants create mentorship or leadership initiatives that align with WLEH values.

• Aid in the execution of a transparent and merit-based selection procedure for the Fellowship and Innovations Fund.

• Provide technical insights, as necessary, to evaluate the alignment, feasibility, and leadership impact of proposed fellowship or innovation concepts.

• Serve as the connecting link between AMPLIF-EYE and the Fellowship and Innovations Fund.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree in public health, international development, education, gender studies, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering leadership or mentorship Training-of-Trainers programs, ideally in low- and middle-income country settings.

• Background in working with capacity-building initiatives and grant or fellowship systems.

• Strong knowledge of gender-transformative programming and mentorship approaches.

• Experience in facilitating virtual education and adult learning programs.

• Proven ability in coaching, follow-up, and qualitative impact evaluation.
