This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development of ERAC’s enterprise data and analytics strategy by collaborating across the organization to shape, prioritize, and execute initiatives—from advanced analytics to data governance—that deliver measurable business outcomes, supported by a practical, value-oriented D&A program.
• Serve as the primary advocate for utilizing data as a strategic asset, ensuring that analytical insights lead to enhanced decision-making, competitive advantages, and new opportunities for revenue or efficiency.
• Collaborate with business leaders, users, and Digital Technology to provide a suite of data products—transitioning from technology-centric solutions and standard reporting to offering reliable, reusable, self-service data products that facilitate strategic planning and execution.
• Create and oversee a data stewardship network to enhance governance capabilities that are AI-ready, purpose-fit, business-aligned, and responsive to ERAC’s current maturity level.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., data privacy, model governance in insurance) while empowering business users to access and trust data.
• Cultivate a data-driven culture by enabling business users with self-service analytics, enhancing data literacy, mentoring analytical talent, and encouraging the use of analytics and AI in everyday decision-making.
• Proven track record of driving data-driven transformation in complex, matrixed settings (preferably within insurance or financial services).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least 8 years of professional experience OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR a High School Diploma with at least 13 years of professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Data & Analytics.
• Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.
• Proven ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with modern analytics and data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Fabric, Power BI, Purview, Copilot, Python, SQL, and machine learning concepts).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that blend deep technical expertise with outstanding communication and influence abilities across all organizational levels.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a capacity to navigate uncertainty and change.
• Knowledge of analytic use cases for insurance and reinsurance—experience with LTC, life, and annuity products is advantageous.
