This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Lead the development of ERAC’s enterprise data and analytics strategy by collaborating across the organization to define, prioritize, and implement initiatives—from advanced analytics to data governance—that deliver measurable business results.
• Serve as the primary champion for utilizing data as a strategic asset, ensuring that analytical insights lead to enhanced decision-making, competitive edges, and new revenue or efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with business leaders, users, and Digital Technology to provide a suite of data products.
• Create and oversee a data stewardship network to enhance governance capabilities that are AI-ready, purpose-fit, aligned with business needs, and responsive to ERAC’s current capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards while allowing business users to access and trust data.
• Promote a data-driven culture by equipping business users with self-service analytics, enhancing data literacy, and mentoring analytical talent.
• Proven track record of driving data-driven transformation in complex, matrixed settings (preferably in insurance or financial services).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least 8 years of professional experience, OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of 11 years of professional experience, OR a High School Diploma with at least 13 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data & Analytics.
• Demonstrated capability to convert complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of modern analytics and data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Fabric, Power BI, Purview, Copilot, Python, SQL, and machine learning concepts).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills—merging deep technical knowledge with outstanding communication and influence abilities across all organizational levels.
• Capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, heavily matrixed environment, and effectively engage with business leaders and executives.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to navigate uncertainty and change.
• Skill in building strong partnerships and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with analytical use cases for insurance and reinsurance—experience in LTC, life, and annuity products is advantageous.
• Over 10 years of Analytics & Data Science/Insights experience—preferably in a business-related role.
• Lean experience is preferred.
