Lead Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Exceptional design — crafting visually impactful, contemporary user interfaces for the company's website, landing pages, and digital platforms.

• High-priority projects — autonomously leading strategically significant initiatives from initial concept to a final, development-ready prototype.

• Client collaboration — refining the design vision even when clients lack clarity — presenting a concept rather than waiting for a comprehensive brief.

• Collaborative creativity — partnering with the UX/technical designer, who oversees structure and flows, and closely collaborating with the art director to consistently uphold visual standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Visual expertise — a compelling web design portfolio showcasing an unmistakable "wow" factor: modern, aesthetically impeccable interfaces and landing pages.

• UI focus — strong skills in UI design: typography, composition, color theory, attention to detail, and experience with design systems.

• UX awareness — going beyond visual appeal — comprehending user flows, usability, and behavior while collaborating with the UX designer.

• Target audience insight — designing for a specific demographic (complex B2B/enterprise clients) rather than a generalized user base.

• Initiative — the capability to guide stakeholders and advocate for design choices, not just perform tasks.

• Autonomy — the ability to manage a complex project through to completion without requiring step-by-step guidance.

• Conversion-focused design (PPC) — experience with landing pages for advertising and an understanding of conversion-driven design is advantageous.

• Figma proficiency — fluent in Figma, working with design systems and preparing mockups for development handoff. (Must have)

• Adobe suite experience — skilled in After Effects/Premiere (video) and Photoshop (photo). (Must have)

• AI design and development expertise — applying generative tools and AI-assisted design in everyday tasks; capability to build with AI and implement modern web effects (animations, scroll interactions, micro-interactions).

• Frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS) — understanding the basics of responsive design and layout constraints; advanced skills are a significant advantage.

• English proficiency — B2 level or higher (working with English-speaking products and audiences).
