This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Oversee UX strategy and implementation across various workstreams or products.
• Create comprehensive experiences, user flows, interaction models, information architecture, and high-fidelity solutions.
• Convert customer research, business objectives, and data insights into impactful design decisions.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and design-thinking activities.
• Foster alignment among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Promote user-centered design best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology leadership to shape product vision and direction.
• Advocate for and contribute to scalable design systems and reusable experience patterns.
• Present and defend design proposals to clients, executives, and senior stakeholders.
• Offer mentorship, coaching, and constructive feedback to fellow designers.
• Assist in developing and enhancing the design practice through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and thought leadership.
• Champion accessibility, inclusion, and ethical design principles throughout the design process.
• Minimum of 8 years in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in advanced conversational English.
• Proven expertise in UX strategy, interaction design, information architecture, service design, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Documented experience leading intricate digital product initiatives from discovery to delivery.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX thinking and measurable business impact.
• Proficient in designing for responsive web, mobile applications, SaaS platforms, and design systems.
• Skilled in Figma, Miro, and modern design and collaboration tools.
• Experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative research to guide design decisions.
• Strong facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience in mentoring or coaching designers.
• Comprehensive understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations.
• Enthusiasm for cultivating diverse teams and nurturing a collaborative design culture.
