Lead UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ideate and create product solutions that harmonize visionary concepts, craftsmanship, efficiency, and business viability.

• Carefully develop new product features — from initial concepts and user experiences to refined, pixel-perfect designs.

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, working in tandem with engineers to transform ideas into deployed solutions.

• Collaborate closely with product managers to grasp customer and user requirements, utilizing this information and intuition to define design tasks that align with the product roadmap.

• Act as a mentor for junior designers, offering guidance and constructive feedback to support their professional development.

• Create and manage local, product-specific design systems, establishing core components, patterns, and guidelines that ensure consistency, quality, and scalability as our products and teams evolve.

• Enhance product design operations, ensuring processes are efficient, collaborative, and aligned with team and product goals.

• Comprehend customer needs, actively exploring and advocating for user experiences that effectively address their challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of product design experience, with a proven ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.

• A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience working closely with engineering-focused projects.

• Proficiency in designing and developing exceptional products using Figma.

• Experience with enterprise-level business-to-business products in a product-led, SaaS environment.

• Capability to develop, scale, and promote design systems within organizations, demonstrating the ability to create concise implementation documentation.

• Skill in untangling ambiguous concepts, leveraging intuition and experience.

• Ability to balance design excellence with business outcomes, taking into account practicality and speed without becoming entangled in unnecessary complexity or overly abstract solutions.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate opinions and welcome diverse perspectives, including receptiveness to feedback and collaboration with stakeholders.

• Familiarity with large language models and prompt-to-design tools like Figma Make.

• A passion for AI-driven workflows.

• An understanding of coding and a keen interest in engineering/technical systems.
