Lead UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of designers by assigning tasks, evaluating performance, conducting design reviews, and mentoring them in both UX strategy and UX/UI design.

• Collaborate with other leaders in the product organization to establish the UX strategy and vision for the various products we are developing and supporting.

• Oversee the intake process for the UX/UI team, prioritizing based on business value.

• Work alongside engineering, product, and business teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

• Develop frameworks, conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, detailed visual mockups, and prototypes to convey innovative product concepts, collaborating within cross-functional teams.

• Produce prototypes that rapidly demonstrate multiple design concepts, understanding the customer and business problems they address.

• Lead design solutions based on user requirements, business objectives, and technical limitations for each product.

• Utilize service blueprints to integrate both ‘front-stage’ and ‘back-stage’ experiences.

• Manage all design phases from initial concept through to development.

• Analyze user feedback and refine designs and concepts based on insights gathered from that feedback.

• Shape the roadmap for research initiatives, product development, and feature enhancements.

• Aid in the creation of design guidelines to ensure consistent experiences throughout the user journey.

• Define requests, communicate the level of effort required, and plan tasks within a dynamic team setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of proven experience in UX strategy and UX/UI design.

• A portfolio showcasing previous design work.

• Experience in managing a team of designers.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Proficiency in wireframe and design tools, particularly Figma.

• Strong visual design capabilities.

• Familiarity with agile development processes.

• Experience in designing B2C and B2B user experiences.
