Lead Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Serve as an architectural leader and trusted advisor to clients.

• Develop feasible technical solutions that align with business objectives, stipulated requirements, contractual commitments, and project timelines.

• Exhibit commercial acumen when engaging with and advising clients.

• Function as an ambassador for Temenos product solutions throughout customer interactions.

• Identify, assess, and propose mitigation strategies for technical risks.

• Provide expert counsel and guidance to clients on the optimal deployment of Temenos products within their infrastructure.

• Represent Temenos in the project/program Design Authority to advocate for the advantages of solutions based on established Reference Architectures.

• Act as a crucial link between the project team, Development Teams, and the Technology Product Group regarding Reference Architecture and Sizing information.

• Assist the Project Manager in mitigating scope creep and ensuring transparency throughout the solution design process.

• Review and oversee technical System Amendment Requests (SARs) and process modifications.

• Collaborate closely with clients, project team members, and Regional and Local development teams to create a robust and viable architecture.

• Mentor other Technical Consultants.

• Offer advice and guidance to clients on environment management and release control across various pre-live environments.

• Define technical solutions for the customization and configuration needs of TEMENOS products as per agreed technical specifications.

• Ensure the completion of TAABS data collection during the Technical Process Analysis phase of the project.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required to maintain continuity in projects.

• Supervise the development and implementation of integration interfaces, APIs, message queues, or other integration technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least ten years of experience in software technical consultancy, including T24 implementation experience within a banking setting.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Infobasic, Java, and Javascript.

• Familiarity with Application Servers (jBOSS, Web Sphere, Web Logic).

• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, RedHat Linux, IBM AIX).

• Understanding of RDBMS, with knowledge of MSSQL, DB2, and Oracle RDBMS.

• Experience with mainframe systems.

• Knowledge of industry concepts such as Java VMs and artifacts (WAR and EAR files), performance tuning, and JMS Componentization of applications.

• Understanding the role of an ESB for event-driven messaging and orchestration.

• Familiarity with concepts related to Internet security, intranet security, cryptography, data tampering, and firewalls.

• Knowledge of Single Sign-On concepts and supported solutions, including LDAP/Active Directory.

• Familiarity with Process Workflow and Human Workflow; exposure to jBPM is advantageous.

• Experience with Web Services penetration, stress, and performance testing.

• Essential knowledge to ensure efficient data flow, system interoperability, and effective integration across diverse platforms.

• Understanding of event-driven architecture, API integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and the capability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong awareness of industry trends and market developments, along with comprehensive company knowledge.
