Lead Steam Turbine Mechanical Technical Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver on-site technical guidance to customer-operated utility and nuclear power facilities for their Turbine Generator Systems.

• Accountable for examining plant engineering documents and P&IDs, as well as troubleshooting plant systems and equipment.

• Plan, organize, integrate, and direct resources such as labor, tools, and materials as needed to fulfill the work scope in accordance with contractual obligations.

• Effectively execute the maintenance and repair of various equipment utilized in power generation applications.

• Supervise and manage repair or inspection procedures employing the latest electronic communication, references, and documentation technologies.

• Identify, anticipate, and record potential failures along with recommendations for future outages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical/University degree or equivalent experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years in a Field Services role.

• At least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment installation/commissioning.

• A minimum of 3 years of proven progressive, responsible experience with various turbine generator equipment and site accountabilities is essential.

• Willingness and ability to travel 80% throughout North America (Canada - United States - Mexico).

• Capability to obtain and maintain unescorted security clearance for nuclear facilities across North America.

• Must be physically capable of walking 5 miles per day, climbing ladders, and lifting 20 lbs.
