Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, steering technical direction, ensuring delivery quality, and fostering platform evolution.

• Take charge of the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of comprehensive full-stack applications and services.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams to refine requirements, influence the product roadmap, and align technical solutions with business goals.

• Assess, prototype, and implement capabilities powered by AI, including features based on LLMs, intelligent automation, and AI-enhanced workflows.

• Provide technical guidance through architecture evaluations, code assessments, and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Design and construct scalable, secure, resilient, and observable cloud-based solutions.

• Advocate for automated testing, quality assurance, and engineering standards throughout the development lifecycle.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.

• Effectively convey technical designs, risks, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Mentor and support engineers, fostering the development of technical skills within the team.

• Encourage a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.

• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and the ongoing development of engineering talent.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proven track record as a Senior or Lead Full Stack Software Engineer.

• Experience in leading engineering teams and delivering software solutions from inception to completion.

• Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery, enhance engineering practices, and advance product development.

• Experience collaborating closely with Product teams, influencing requirements, and making roadmap decisions.

• Practical experience in integrating AI/ML capabilities into production software, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or AI-driven workflows.

• Strong grasp of modern software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.

• Experience in designing and developing cloud-based applications and services.

• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience in creating scalable, resilient, secure, and observable systems.

• Strong commitment to code quality, maintainability, testing, and operational excellence.

• Confident in making technical decisions, engaging in architecture discussions, and conducting code reviews.

• Experience in mentoring engineers and supporting their professional growth.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Understanding of security, resilience, operational risk, and software quality in regulated or mission-critical settings.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Strong ownership mentality with the capability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
