Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical roadmap for the product suite.

• Collaborate with architects to design complex systems, minimize technical debt, and influence high-level integration strategy decisions.

• Set a standard by contributing high-quality code to our most intricate SaaS products.

• Develop long-term technical solutions and delve deeply to address systemic architectural challenges.

• Promote the adoption of contemporary industry best practices, including AI-assisted development, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Ensure quality through automated testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Offer in-depth technical guidance and assist in unblocking offshore and nearshore teams.

• Facilitate code reviews and design sessions to nurture a culture of producing software correctly.

• Serve as the technical liaison between product management, quality engineering, and DevOps.

• Drive long-term corrective measures for performance and reliability challenges, ensuring our services are robust and satisfying for our customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in developing, maintaining, and innovating large-scale, high-availability web applications and services.

• A minimum of 2 years in a hands-on technical lead or principal engineering role, steering technical decisions and solutions to fruition.

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (or equivalent substantial technical work experience).

• Strong, proven understanding and practical application of software design and architecture principles, patterns, and long-term integration strategy decisions.

• Expert-level experience with AWS, encompassing cloud architecture, serverless programming, DevOps methodologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including full-stack development using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Angular, and Typescript.

• Proficient in relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred) and NoSQL databases.

• Proven ability to provide comprehensive technical guidance and mentorship, lead design sessions, and execute high-quality code reviews.

• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, with a track record of translating intricate technical issues and architectural designs to technical, product, and leadership teams.

• A strong dedication to fostering engineering excellence and embracing modern industry practices, including DevSecOps and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot/Claude).

• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering reliable, resilient software products.
