Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and develop scalable microservices solutions that manage high-volume financial transactions.

• Lead decisions on system design with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, and performance enhancement.

• Utilize your expertise to suggest enhancements that improve reliability and maintainability for both current and future features.

• Guide cross-functional teams (including but not limited to tiger teams) on specific technical projects and work alongside product and engineering teams to prioritize items on the technical roadmap.

• Assume responsibility for intricate technical projects from inception to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• Expertise in Golang (highly preferred) or proficiency in one of the following: Java, C#, or C++.

• Extensive experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems, demonstrating robust skills in designing and implementing scalable structures.

• Familiarity with DevOps and Infrastructure best practices, having experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (experience with AWS is preferred, but knowledge of other platforms is also valuable).

• Previous experience in the financial services (fintech) or payments sector.

• Excellent English communication skills for sharing technical knowledge and collaborating across teams in the US, Canada, and Brazil.
