Lead Software Developer – AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in identifying prospects for automation and process enhancement driven by AI.

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions for Clinical Data Management and operational workflows utilizing LLMs, RAG, traditional ML techniques, and rule-based methods.

• Establish and execute strategies for model creation, testing, validation, benchmarking, and preparation of training data.

• Incorporate AI solutions into existing desktop and web-based software platforms, primarily focused on C#/.NET applications.

• Work together with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and operational standards.

• Create and sustain technical documentation pertaining to software applications, AI models, and development methodologies.

• Remain updated on advancements in AI, machine learning, and software engineering technologies, and proactively assess their relevance within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in IT or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the development of AI/ML/NN/computer vision solutions.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in creating Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.

• Expertise in Python; SQL (MS SQL) and vector (Qdrant) databases; document-centric AI workflows.

• Background in AI validation, explainability, hallucination mitigation, benchmarking, and confidence scoring techniques.

• Familiarity with AI-agent orchestration (MCP Server).

• Experience with APIs, CI/CD workflows, Git, Azure DevOps, and production deployment practices.

• Knowledge of SDLC and MLOps.

• Nice to Have

• Experience in developing AI solutions within healthcare, life sciences, or CRO/pharmaceutical settings.

• Experience in integrating AI solutions into C#/.NET enterprise platforms.

• Awareness of Selenium, Playwright, or other automated testing frameworks.
