This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Regularly engage and follow up with customers to secure service projects and achieve growth objectives.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, collaborating with cross-functional leaders (Engineering, Parts, Services, Projects) to implement appropriate actions and deliver timely resolutions to customer concerns.
• Partner with customer personnel (Operations, Engineering, Training, and Purchasing) to address product issues, enhance plant availability, and optimize purchased services, including parts, field service, upgrades, and other service offerings provided by GE.
• Convert customer needs and requirements into comprehensive plans, driving internal execution to achieve targets.
• Team up with customers to formulate long-term success strategies by understanding their organization, assets, potential downtime losses, and installed base.
• Ensure adherence to warranty and service commitments, including timely delivery, high quality, compliance with contract scope, and anticipated profitability of service orders.
• Conduct customer site visits and/or hold regular calls to foster business relationships and promote service upsells.
• Disseminate lessons learned to enhance standardization and efficiency.
• Accountable for reporting all financial metrics related to services and parts provided to customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in a heavy industry setting involving customer interaction.
• Background in a customer-facing Service Delivery or Project Management role within a Service environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the Industry, particularly in Metals or Oil & Gas, with technical knowledge of power generation, metals, mining, and plastics processes.
• Proven ability to maintain long-term client relationships while delivering service offerings and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail in financial tracking and reporting for services.
• A commitment to ownership and accountability that fosters customer solutions and enhances service profitability.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to prioritize tasks and adjust activities to align with business needs and departmental goals.
• Quick to learn and adapt to departmental policies, procedures, and practices.
• A solid track record of upholding a high standard of personal and professional ethics and integrity.
