This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Initiating and carrying out field service operations at customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Proactively diagnosing system issues.
• Working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment conditions.
• Performing preventative maintenance and managing parts inventory.
• Identifying and rectifying safety concerns related to both Company and Customer-owned equipment.
• Directly interacting with customers and may be tasked with responsibilities across multiple systems, locations, and clients.
• Accountable for escalating issues and utilizing appropriate company resources to resolve concerns involving both personnel and customers.
• Some travel is necessary.
• Travel may range from 20% to 80% depending on division and location (including overnight stays away from home).
• Submission of a Driver Application for Employment is required.
• A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) must be provided.
• Required forms include: Driver Disclosure and Release, Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement, FMCSA Certificate of Awareness, Driver Certificate of Violations, Driver Statement of On Duty Hours Road Test, a copy of Driver's License, and a copy of the Medical Certificate.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Capability to obtain a CDL, class A or B with necessary endorsements.
• Ability to secure all mandatory customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical card.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• Prior work experience is preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of technical work experience is needed.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion fields, depending on the business unit.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision and provide coaching/training to junior technicians.
• Must possess strong technical acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and smart device applications is required.
• Customer service experience is a must.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it effectively.
• Capable of deriving insights from customer interactions to drive outcomes and address problems in innovative and unexpected ways.
• Access to Employee Resource Groups (ERG).
