Lead, Security Engineer V&CM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all initiatives within the VCM domain.

• Perform in-depth vulnerability assessments utilizing tools such as Wiz and Tenable.

• Effectively communicate findings to prioritize the remediation of vulnerabilities.

• Oversee US FinTech infrastructure for issues related to Vulnerability and Compliance.

• Establish new Security baselines for CIS and DISA STIG.

• Deliver thorough risk assessments for identified vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure prompt remediation of vulnerabilities.

• Act as a bridge between security, IT, development, and risk management teams.

• Mentor Junior Analysts and provide strategic guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 7 years of experience in security engineering and operations.

• Required experience with AWS Cloud.

• Recognized expert in cyber security within the areas of vulnerability and compliance management.

• Knowledge of the latest security vulnerabilities and penetration techniques.

• Experience in senior technical security positions, including network security and vulnerability testing.

• Strong understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP and fundamental packet analysis.

• Must possess experience in conducting thorough vulnerability assessments with tools like Wiz and Tenable.

• Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
