Lead SAP ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, document, and uphold high-quality SAP programs that adhere to best practices for reliability and scalability.

• Evaluate new development requirements and system enhancements, developing solutions that align with changing business objectives.

• Analyze and address change requests, assist in Fit/Gap sessions, and provide teams with accurate technical guidance.

• Implement SAP Clean Core principles by utilizing standard APIs, CDS Views, and extensibility frameworks.

• Employ enhancement strategies such as In-App Extensibility (Key User tools, Custom Fields & Logic), Side-by-Side Extensibility (SAP BTP, CAP, APIs), and the Enhancement Framework (BADIs, User Exits, Implicit / Explicit Enhancements).

• Ensure robust documentation and code quality, maintaining alignment with business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of ABAP development experience across key SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, Solution Manager) in both ECC and S/4 environments.

• Extensive knowledge of ABAP tools (Adobe Forms, Smartforms, SAPScripts, IDocs/ALE).

• Proficient in SAP HANA, CDS Views, and performance enhancement techniques.

• Experience in supporting SAP upgrades, migrations, and integration initiatives.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical challenges.

• Strong analytical and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and the translation of business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

• Must be willing to work from 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
