
Lead Revenue Cycle Supervisor – Denials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Supervise teams executing revenue cycle operations across various clients
• Act as a liaison for domestic business office personnel regarding time management, support services, policies, and new initiatives
• Engage with client teams via phone, email, and instant messaging
• Facilitate client-facing meetings and prepare agendas, issue logs, report packages, and relevant materials
• Oversee team productivity, quality metrics, and client-specific service level agreements
• Collaborate on the onboarding process for new clients, staff assignments, and targeted solutions
• Manage system access, equipment requirements, necessary training, and onboarding expectations
• Schedule staff to cover client operating hours
• Review and authorize employee time, time-off, billable hours, and overtime
• Develop and manage unit budgets and utilization KPIs within Workday
• Coordinate with analytics and IT to ensure accurate reporting
• Partner with Human Resources and DBO leadership on performance escalations and absence/time-reporting issues
• Report to the Domestic Business Office leadership team
• Ensure consistent revenue cycle management service delivery and unit financial performance
• Valid permanent U.S. work authorization is mandatory
• A minimum of 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience in a multi-facility, integrated healthcare delivery system or consulting experience is preferred
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a multi-facility, integrated healthcare delivery system or consulting experience is preferred
• Familiarity with accounting systems, insurance issues, healthcare industry trends, legal matters, as well as third-party and government guidelines, and word processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in the face of change
• Comfort in making decisions and operating under ambiguous conditions
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multitask, respond promptly, and manage project work plans
• Robust analytical skills with the capability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into actionable improvement recommendations
• Capability to remain seated at a desk/computer for 8 hours daily
• Frequent use of computer keyboard, mouse, and monitors for 8 hours daily
• Ability to engage in video/audio conference calls and utilize a headset
• Occasionally able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand/bend for extended periods
