This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Oversee a team responsible for customer retention, renewals, and the expansion of Splunk enterprise software solutions.
• Guide and mentor Renewals Specialists while evolving the renewals function within Cisco.
• Align regional revenue retention strategies with both organizational and corporate goals.
• Spearhead regional change management projects.
• Collaborate with leaders from various business sectors on strategic initiatives.
• Innovate to scale and effectively transform the renewals business.
• Provide precise and detailed regional forecasts on a rolling four-quarter basis.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and yearly renewal rate objectives and KPIs.
• Minimize churn by proactively identifying and addressing risks using data, reports, and dashboards.
• Define, optimize, and implement internal business processes and operational guidelines.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to mitigate renewal risks using URM and UEM frameworks.
• Collaborate with sales on long-term strategies for account management.
• Partner with the Partner team to enhance renewal book execution.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent in renewal sales.
• Direct daily operations with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
• Cultivate team development through coaching, performance assessments, and learning initiatives.
• Address underperformance decisively and tactfully.
• Make prompt decisions and effectively manage conflicts.
• Over 5 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Proven track record of meeting targets and achieving professional growth.
• Established SaaS sales management experience with a history of driving growth and team performance.
• In-depth knowledge of renewals sales metrics, including renewal and churn rates, net growth, forecasting, and performance management.
• Experience with recurring revenue models and collaboration with account management, customer success, and operations.
• Comfortable leading through periods of change and challenging established norms.
• Strong ability in data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational, operational, and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities across diverse teams.
• Capability to manage and develop an independent team.
• Staff management expertise, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce.
