Lead QA Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Ensure that websites, storefronts, and backend systems function seamlessly prior to their launch.

• Develop systems that identify bugs before they are seen by users.

• Identify unreliable tests and establish a clean, scalable testing architecture.

• Diagnose issues and guarantee quality releases for the React-based storefront and middleware.

• Work collaboratively with an enthusiastic QA team to enhance lives through consistent and reliable releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in QA development, showcasing real instances of automated testing strategies you have created, maintained, enhanced, or scaled.

• More than 2 years of experience in leadership, mentorship, or coaching roles.

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent tools.

• Expertise in designing, optimizing, and scaling automated testing frameworks for both frontend storefronts and backend middleware.

• Experience with integrating automated tests into cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.

• A keen attention to quality metrics.

• Familiarity with specialized QA domains like API contract testing, performance profiling, load testing, and browser developer tool profiling.

• Exceptional skills in bug prevention.
