Lead Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the design, coding, testing, and deployment of applications built on Python.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish project scopes, architectural frameworks, and delivery schedules.

• Perform code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.

• Diagnose, debug, and enhance applications for optimal performance and scalability.

• Ensure code integrity and organization that provides tangible business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software development.

• More than 5 years of experience working with Python.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Experience in writing tests and an understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Knowledge of development principles including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID.

• Proficiency with both relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) platforms like CircleCI, Travis, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience using static analysis tools such as mypy and Radon.

• **Nice To Have**

• Familiarity with AWS services including ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Event Bridge.

• Experience with multiple programming languages, ideally including PHP, Node.js, or TypeScript.

• Understanding of Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
