Lead Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple, concurrent projects to fulfill business objectives.

• Serve as the liaison between the team and governance entities to relay high-level program and project information for planning, budgeting, metrics, and process enhancements.

• Guide the team in implementing suitable project methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile).

• Coach, mentor, and lead a team in the methodologies and techniques employed in project management.

• Work in partnership with the ISD Project Portfolio Office to continually enhance the tools and methodologies utilized in URMC program and project management.

• Coordinate across interconnected projects to create and disseminate program status updates, including milestones, deliverables, budget, risks, and issues.

• Develop and sustain strong relationships with operational and ISD leaders to ensure ongoing communication and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Science, or Engineering is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

• Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role.

• Preferred: 3-5 years of program management experience or related experience in managing or mentoring other project managers.

• Extensive computer proficiency, including expertise in Microsoft Project, Teams, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications (ACP, DA, or CSM).
