This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Lead ongoing enhancements of Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling processes, which includes the development and upkeep of KPIs and critical path analysis.
• Offer scheduling expertise for intricate Equipment Only, Engineering, Equipment & Procurement, and Turnkey projects that support the PMO.
• Create and sustain integrated L2/L3 project schedules for a moderate portfolio of projects.
• Engage in ITO-to-OTR handover meetings to confirm assumptions, risks, scope, and contract specifics.
• Attend customer kickoff meetings and follow up on actions related to schedules.
• Develop Commitment Meeting documents and facilitate Commitment Meetings to establish project baselines.
• Establish integrated project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, incorporating L3/L2 schedules and S-curves.
• Maintain schedules to accurately represent project scope, execution strategy, and status.
• Monitor performance regarding on-time delivery, schedule delays, inaccurate data, forecasts, and reporting.
• Conduct weekly/monthly schedule analyses, highlight critical impacts, and propose mitigations.
• Update schedule data and KPIs within Planner Dashboard, OTD Tracker, Pulse, and WIPT.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify mitigation strategies and incorporate them into schedules.
• Raise critical project concerns to the internal project manager and project team.
• Prepare precise internal and client-facing project status reports.
• Communicate the impacts of execution strategies and changes to required dates.
• Assist project team members with data, analysis, and identifying root causes of schedule discrepancies.
• Conduct critical path and delay analysis for deliverables, extension-of-time, and cost claims.
• Engage in process and tool enhancements for the Planning team.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling within an EPC context.
• 3 years of expertise with Oracle Primavera P6 or equivalent project, program, and portfolio management tools.
• Familiarity with extension-of-time claims and forensic planning.
• Understanding of power plant fundamentals and EPC work processes.
• Experience with site scheduling.
• Resource loading experience in P6 schedules.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
