This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Drive ongoing enhancements in Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling processes, including KPIs and critical path analysis.
• Provide leadership in scheduling for intricate Equipment Only, Engineering, Equipment & Procurement, and Turnkey projects.
• Develop and manage integrated L2/L3 project schedules for a medium portfolio of projects.
• Engage in ITO-to-OTR handover meetings to validate assumptions and summarize risks.
• Participate in customer kickoff meetings and ensure follow-up on schedule-related action items.
• Contribute to the creation of the Delivery Matrix and develop Commitment Meeting documentation.
• Facilitate Commitment Meetings to address schedule discrepancies and establish project baselines.
• Configure integrated project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, including L2/L3 schedules and S-curves.
• Maintain schedules to accurately reflect project scope, execution strategy, and current project status.
• Monitor performance regarding on-time delivery, schedule delays, forecasts, reporting accuracy, and corrective measures.
• Conduct weekly/monthly schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and delay assessments.
• Update schedule information and KPIs in Planner Dashboard, OTD Tracker, Pulse, and WIPT.
• Collaborate with project teams on mitigation strategies and escalate critical concerns.
• Provide precise project status reports to functions, customers, and business stakeholders.
• Analyze schedule discrepancies, root causes, impacts of execution strategies, and required dates.
• Support extension-of-time and cost claims.
• Offer feedback for the enhancement of Planning team processes and tools.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• 5 years of experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling within an EPC environment.
• 3 years of experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or similar project, program, and portfolio management tools.
• Experience with extension-of-time claims and forensic planning.
• Knowledge of power plant principles and EPC work processes.
• Exposure to site scheduling.
• Experience with resource loading in P6 schedules.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (desired characteristic).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
