Lead Product Manager – Services Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the upper-funnel user journey, pinpointing the information and interactions that encourage consumers to transition from exploration to submitting a project (request-a-quote).

• Develop and implement a monetization strategy beyond Yelp Assistant, featuring elements such as shareable “Request a Quote” links and enhanced project workspace capabilities.

• Create and communicate a product roadmap for the next 12–18 months for your area, ensuring alignment among stakeholders in Engineering, Design, Ads, and Marketing.

• Collaborate with design and analytics teams to examine consumer journey data, identify high-impact conversion opportunities, and conduct rapid experiments.

• Contribute to the development of Yelp Assistant features as new needs arise post-launch, which includes defining chat UX patterns, instrumentation, and evaluation frameworks.

• Establish success metrics (project submissions, funnel conversion rates, connected user needs, revenue proxies) and develop dashboards to monitor progress.

• Work cross-functionally with peer PMs, Engineering Managers, and commercial stakeholders to ensure that monetization efforts align with the broader Yelp Assistant strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid foundational understanding of what is required to excel as a Product Manager.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze user funnels and translate findings into product modifications that effectively impact key metrics.

• Strong appreciation for UX design and the capability to reason about how the presentation of information and interaction patterns influence user behavior.

• Experience with or a strong familiarity with LLM/chat product experiences, including conversational design, evaluation frameworks, or chat-based interfaces.

• Proven track record of establishing product vision and roadmap for over 12 months, and executing in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Comfortable working across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web) and utilizing experimentation platforms to validate hypotheses.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities; capable of aligning cross-functional partners around a unified strategy.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
