This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Define and spearhead the strategy for assessing, acquiring, and enhancing data assets that fuel Experian's offerings in acquisition, underwriting, account management, and collections.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics teams to convert raw data into valuable, scalable data products utilized in models, scores, and decision-making solutions.
• Develop a comprehensive long-term data roadmap aligned with Experian's product portfolio and growth objectives.
• Facilitate commercialization by empowering product teams to develop market-ready data-driven solutions.
• Discover new opportunities through market analysis and competitive insights within lending and financial services.
• Work in conjunction with credit risk, fraud, identity, and decisioning teams to guarantee data supports a variety of use cases and customer demographics.
• Ensure that data products are scalable, governed, compliant, and deliver measurable commercial benefits.
• Proven experience with large-scale data assets, data platforms, or data-driven products in the financial services, FinTech, or analytics sectors.
• Experience collaborating with data science teams to formulate attributes, models, or analytical products.
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and create roadmaps for data or analytics products that cater to multiple downstream applications.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and regulatory aspects concerning financial data.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in data science, analytics, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in product management, data product management, or analytics product strategy.
• Proven track record of developing business cases, assessing investment opportunities, and driving revenue from data-enabled products.
• Familiarity with credit bureau data, credit risk analytics, financial data ecosystems, or decisioning platforms.
